Butter Biscuits
2 sticks of unsalted melted butter
2 cups of self-rising flour
1 cup of sour cream
Add the melted butter and sour cream to the flour and mix together. The mix can be lumpy. This recipe will make enough dough to fill one large muffin tin if you fill each tile about ¾ full. Bake for 30ish minutes at 350 degrees. Pack these in a basket lined with a cloth napkin.

Philosophy of Food (a work in progress)
I believe in eating well.
What, you ask, do you mean by "well"?
For starters, let me get this straight:
1. I do not believe in good food or bad food. Candy is not "bad." Carrots are not "good." Moderation is key.
2. I am exploring intuitive eating and learning to listen to my body. We are trained from an early age not to listen to our bodies. Being in remission from an eating disorder, I've struggled with this greatly.
3. Don't be afraid to experiment in the kitchen. Substitute, omit, add...I always cook like this, and what's the worst that will happen? It doesn't turn out quite as you wanted. If you're a bit shy, start with herbs and spices. A little cumin in black beans goes a long way.
4. Be picky. Eating is about nourishing yourself and your community. We tend to eat with others. "Want to meet for lunch?" What you put inside yourself to fuel yourself and nourish yourself should be as fresh as possible. Spend the extra money on some extra ingredients. Buy beans and grains in bulk, if possible.
5. Enjoy yourself. Do not deny yourself.
6. Diets are bad. Healthy and mindful eating are good.
